OUR MINISTER: Rev. Micah C. Ma

Rev. Micah C. Ma

Rev. Micah Ma was ordained to Unitarian Universalist ministry in 2020 and received their Masters in Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA. They were born and raised in California, moving to Cleveland, OH for a parish internship at West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church. Afterward, they spent two years at the Cleveland VA Medical Center, working as a Chaplain Resident and then a Chaplain Fellow specializing in patients with serious mental illness. They are delighted to be in North Carolina now and are enjoying the much more abundant sunshine, not to mention the abundant seafood! Rev. Micah is passionate about church and ministry and all the wonderful things that can happen when people come together.

OUR MUSIC DIRECTOR: Tom Cullison

Tom Cullison

Tom Cullison was a music major and a trumpet player in college, before becoming an orthopedic surgeon.  He and his family were members of several Unitarian Universalist churches and sang in several UU choirs during Tom’s 40-year U.S. Navy service.  He loves conducting the UCF choir and is glad they are able to perform live at services again.

OUR ACCOMPANIST: Meganne Smith

Meganne Smith
