Our Board/Our Lay Leaders: The Unitarian Coastal Fellowship

Beginning on August 2, there will be a
camp for kids. Get information from Debra Guthrie and bring your kids, your grandkids and your neighbor’s kids to this fun activity.

The Hoopers hosted a Care Circle water day at their house for the Down East and Beaufort Care Circles. Although the water came from the sky and not from the slip and slide and the bay, 22 folks had a great time. Does this give any of the other care circles any ideas?

The Worship Committee is organizing a “Take me out to the ballgame” evening to see a Marlins game.

The sanctuary is getting a new look as the window frames get painted. If you want to help, call John Russell.

The flower beds are being weeded and they can always use some extra hands. Weeds grow faster than anything, even if there isn’t any rain.

So as you can see there are lots of activities going on that you could volunteer for if you want to. We also have several committees that are short members (for example -
Finance, RE and Membership).

The Board is working on a new policy that will cover the rental of our facility by someone outside our congregation. The building is free to those of our congregation who want to have an activity here.

If you want to see what the Board of Trustees and the committees are doing, look on the bulletin board across from the downstairs office for the minutes of each of the Board or Committee meetings.
